1- Cooperative Training Office

Goal:

Supervise and follow up on cooperative training for students and coordinate with various training institutions and the Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs.

Tasks :

  • Receiving training lists from concerned departments and distributing students to training institutions, taking into account the specialization and students’ circumstances by ensuring diversity of geographical areas of institutions.
  • Seeking to open specialized training channels by suggesting possible training institutions inside and outside the region and submitting results to the training office at the University for approval.
  • Coordinating with concerned departments to design and develop performance and evaluation forms for trainees after they have been approved.
  • Coordinating with concerned departments to propose a precise evaluation mechanism that complies with the requirements of the course, based on the study plan, and to submit it to competent councils for approval and implementation.
  • Standardizing work procedures in cooperative training in different departments, taking specialization into account.
  • Providing consultations during cooperative training for all supervisors.
  • Ensuring adherence to training standards.
  • Activating e-follow-up and e-evaluation of trainees inside and outside the region through approved learning tools for linking them with the academic supervisors.
  • Collecting and analyzing data and questionnaires in coordination with the Statistics Unit and responding to inquiries from training bodies and students.
  • Benefiting from evaluation results to raise supervisors’ efficiency and the cooperating trainers.

16. Safety and Security Committee

Tasks of the Committee

  • Following up on the fulfillment of security and safety requirements.
  • Following up on the preparation of orders for maintenance, security, and safety needs.
  • Following up supervision of warehouses and inventory control.
  • Carrying out all safety and fire-fighting measures and verifying the availability of their conditions in the Faculty, carrying out inspection tours to prevent fires.
  • Verifying the validity of warning devices in coordination with the concerned authority.
  • Cooperating with the University’s Security and Safety Department and civil defense teams.
  • Working on developing the efficiency of the Faculty’s employees through training candidates and suggesting the bodies that train them in coordination with the competent authorities.
  • Working to raise awareness of safety issues.
  • Evaluating safety performance for the department periodically for improvement.
  • Documenting all accidents and following up on them with the competent authorities, preparing a monthly report on the work done by the department, and providing suggestions to improve employees’ performance.
  • Moving immediately to the violation location and taking immediate measures.
  • Inventory of training courses that serve security personnel and submit them to the Department of Security and Safety.
