About the department of Biological Sciences
The Department of Biology at the College of Science is one of the five departments of the College of Science. The Department of Biology supports the educational process in the College of Science, the Colleges of the Health Track, and the College of Applied Sciences. The department also contributes to the programmatic transformation effort at Northern Border University through its relentless pursuit of developing qualitative programs to keep pace with scientific development in the fields of biological sciences to achieve the goals of sustainable development and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The Department of Biology has made valuable contributions in the field of scientific publishing through experienced and competent faculty members. The department periodically participates in scientific research support programs at the university and through solid publishing in journals within the scope of the Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus network.
The Department of Biology is actively involved in the field of community service through courses and activities related to the goal of protecting the environment and biodiversity in order to achieve the sustainability of natural resources in the northern border region.
