The Department of Biology within the College of Science is one of five departments under this college's umbrella. Apart from supporting the educational endeavors within the College of Science, it extends its support to the Health Track as well as the College of Applied Sciences. The department periodically participates in scientific research support programs at the university  and through solid publishing in journals within the scope of the Web of Science (WOS)
