The department and its vision aims for high-quality education in addition to creating an important academic and research environment for its students and mission. It seeks to achieve success the mission and goals in accordance with the college’s vision and mission deriving from the university’s vision and mission. 
Chemistry is considered one of the most important and critical sciences due to involving all basic sciences, as it overlaps with many applied sciences, in addition to its importance in all different areas of life. The Chemistry Department includes a distinguished elite of faculty members at the rank of professor, associate professor, assistant professor, and lecturer, who play an essential role in the distinguished performance of the department.
